Meet Jay Olson
Jay Olson is the owner and founder of The Life Insurance Specialists of MN. He graduated from St.Cloud Technical and Community College with a degree in Advertising and spent 25 years in the bar industry, where he held many roles and jobs. In 2013, he opted for a career change and decided to walk away from the bar business forever. He began working in sales at Matthew Lumber Hall, where he quickly came to love the world of sales. In 2014, Jay unfortunately lost his father, who always spoke highly on life insurance and emphasized it’s importance often. This inspired Jay to pursue a career as a life insurance agent. He experienced first hand what life insurance could do for his mother and family, in a time of grievance and need. Ever since, Jay has had a passion for not only finding people the right life insurance plan for them, but also educating them throughout the process.
